Race Day Special Traffic Departure Procedures

Departure instructions — fixed wing aircraft

Taxi to nearest exit spot (see airport diagram below) and STOP.

MONITOR appropriate ground control frequency as indicated on the sign.

When you are number 1 at an exit spot ground control will contact you. Advise ground control of aircraft call sign, destination, if IFR or VFR, and current ATIS code.

MONITOR the next frequency as assigned. Taxi as instructed. Expect to depart from the runway end unless otherwise advised.

MONITOR assigned tower frequency WHEN instructed.

ALL AIRCRAFT must depart with Class C service.

Aircraft equipped with anti-collision lights should exercise courtesy while taxiing.
